Why make Raid Cooldowns?

Raid Cooldowns was created by a team of CE Mythic Raiders (who also happen to be software engineers) to streamline the process of creating raid notes. In recent years, much of the challenge for Mythic raiding has been in coordinating specific abilities, which can be time-consuming to plan.

Our goal is to provide a smooth, responsive, and elegant tool for quickly creating and modifying notes for Method Raid Tools. This allows raiders to spend more time playing the game and less time managing spreadsheets.

How to use Raid Cooldowns

While you might first encounter Raid Cooldowns on your mobile device, it's designed for optimal use on your PC. Raid Cooldowns is a website for creating raid and personal notes compatible with Method Raid Tools for Mythic Raiding.

Getting Started

1. Select a boss from the dropdown menu in the top left.
2. Use the Healer, Tanks, Melee, Ranged, or Everyone buttons to add characters.
3. Name each character for proper note generation.
4. Drag characters to reorder them on the timeline.
5. Click on the timeline at the desired time and select an ability from the dropdown.
6. Drag abilities to adjust their timing.

Free Mode vs Roster Mode

Free Mode is the default for creating and managing characters. To use Roster Mode:

1. Toggle Roster Mode on.
2. Navigate to 'Manage Roster' to set your team.
3. Your roster will be saved locally and auto-populate when Roster Mode is active.

Generating the MRT Note

Once you've set your assignments, generate the note. It will automatically copy to your clipboard.
